It was Sep 2020 when XF2.2 was released which had features which were useful to users.
Then in July 2024, 8 months ago, we had Dark Mode as the only feature which would impact day to day experience of the forum users, that too was possible without this feature. We are having constant minor releases but no useful user quality of life improvements.
Right now I am not too sure of what the future of XenForo is. Is it dying a slow natural death when all the founders and developers have moved...
