Add thread discussion to add-on core system self

I want to understand if that I can create a discussion to own an add-on system would look like this,

localhost/naraka.1/mods/threads/

localhost/naraka.1/mods/threads/title.1/

{games}/{mods}/{threads}/{mod.id}

But this would only belong to an add-on that creates a node without the XenForo default node. So will this break the XenForo core in the future, or will it not?
