So if I'm typing in the quick search top right and I then click Advanced search, the contents of the search box are now retained and displayed in the 'Search everything' tab of the advanced search. I think this is something new in 2.3?
However, if I'm typing in to the Advanced search form but then decide to change the type, the contents of the search box are lost.
It's a minor irritation, but all adds up to a worse UI than if it simply remembered the contents.
