Notices reset after migration

After installing Xenforo cloud from a vb4 migration, all notices that were dismissed by users long ago on VB are showing to users as they login for the first time on the new XF. All notices that are active, and there's quite a few that can be confusing, like they have to confirm their email address as if they are a new user, etc.

Any thought on how to reset this? I suppose I could turn off the notices but then new users who need to see them, won't.
